Slade Ceramics - a Manchester potter offering bespoke pottery experiences in hand building and on the potters wheel
I am always happiest when I am transforming a lump of clay into something special. The forming of a useful and beautiful artefact from such a simple material is a magical act, and something that never ceases to amaze me.
I also enjoy encouraging others to appreciate the mucky qualities of clay. So, I teach them how to change lumps of mud into their own kind of special. I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction from sending people home caked in clay with broad grins across their faces.
Would you like to join a handbuilding class or make work then Raku fire it; learn the basics of throwing or improve your existing skills? I run workshops and classes on a regular basis. Please explore my website to learn more.
